I worked hard to get where I thought I wanted to be, and loved my job, my company and my co-workers, and was quite successful, but something was missing and it was showing in my health. My passion for work was starting to dwindle.
I realized I needed to do something new, I just wasn’t sure of the right time, how I could make it work or if I could be an entrepreneur again. Thanks to the work that I put in every day, I am living in my genius; I have not only one but two businesses that I have started, and both are moving full steam ahead, and help me jump out of bed excited everyday for the next adventure ahead.
When I approached Ellen about her being my executive coach I quickly realized she was my life coach. I had to make a change in my life and I really needed some support and what I like to call an accountability partner that would help me get to the root of what was going on with me and why I was so restless with my job when I loved it so.
What I realized through working with Ellen was that I really wanted to try something new, and I was so happy with the relationship and friendships around me at my current job that I was overlooking the fact that I wasn't leaving anytime to focus on me. Soon, my health started to show a trend of issues that needed to be addressed. I really did love my job, my team, my company and the work itself, but I was working crazy hours and wanted to try something new and get my health back on track—so I knew I needed to find a comfortable balance.
So, I tackled what was going on and then I started to focus on what I really wanted to do, where I wanted to live, and how I wanted to live my life. I kept sitting in denial of how I could make it work to leave the corporate world and go back to be an entrepreneur again and it seemed as though there were too many obstacles for me to make it back to being my own boss.
I didn't realize how important that first conversation with Ellen really was and how it would change my life for the better. Within one year of adopting my choices, mapping out my land of plenty and committing to the work, I found an amazing house and piece of property on the water that I thought I would never be able to have—and moved in within 38 days of seeing it! Within four months of moving out to paradise, I realized how powerful the energy and magic I had created helped guide me to where I was supposed to be, which turned out to be an owner of a coffee shop (which was always a dream for when I retired). To add to that, my health has never been better, I am in the greatest shape I have been in for 12 years, I left my corporate job and started consulting again but with more experience and passion like I have never had! I am truly grateful for Ellen showing me the way to my creativity in all I do. There is no stopping me.
